ANTIGONE
DECEMBER 2025
Presented by the Senior Acting Extension Cohort, Little Seed Theatre Company’s Production of Antigone performed at The Majestic Theatre Pomona, on December 13 2025.
Oedipus’ daughters Antigone and Ismene are grieving the death of their brothers. Antigone is defiant at the law imposed by her Uncle that no traitor killed in war is to be buried. The law of the state conflicts with the unwritten burial laws of the gods. Which law holds more weight and which outweighs the other: the law of the state or the right of the individual? Is now a time to comply or a time to defy?
